Why MyRadioMall.com and not someone else?

In a nutshell

In business for over 31 years

OK, so you have been in business for over 31 years, so what?

Unless you give good customer service and are perceived by the customer as a valued commodity, you don't stay in business this long. We've been doing this for a long time, and we know our stuff. Our repeat business is one of the highest in the industry. We offer great pricing, exceptional service and are always here for you.

ARS Years

Lots and lots of five stars reviews

Twenty-five years ago, we had a really crazy notion, let's put our products online on this new thing called the Internet at a good price and see what happens. In that time, we have serviced over 25 million customers online. In fact, we were the very first Motorola Authorized Dealer to set up a website for our customers.

You don't get so many Five-Star reviews without customer service being of the highest priority. Our new site expands by offering the same quality Motorola equipment, plus high-quality alternatives, including our very own brand, ValueMax Pro.

We know what we are doing

We've been doing this for a very long time. Not only that, but we have heard just about every single problem that a customer could have. We also do not believe in overselling merchandise that is not necessary. If the simple VL50 two-way radios are a better solution, we are not going to try to sell you on the more complicated CP200D digital option.

The owner of this company started as an installer working for Motorola directly and quickly moved up the ranks to become their main portable and cellular technician, before opening his own company. After 31 years, our business thrives on repeat customers and referrals.

Large inventory with great pricing

Not only do we carry a fairly large inventory, but we have multiple distributors throughout the country. While many people solely rely on Motorola in Chicago, we have multiple Motorola distributors besides Chicago's main distribution center. If we cannot get it, there's a good chance no one else can either, especially when it comes to some older inventory. We carry the top sellers in stock, and usually if a shortage occurs, other dealers purchase from us.

Real educated people to talk to

Besides the advancement in technology, we still have and use old-fashioned copper wire telephones. Seriously, give us a call, you get a human being on the other end of the line. Courteous and ready to help. Today's technology, including multiple computer systems, are great for processing repetitious day-to-day operation, but they will never replace the interaction between people.

Our people are constantly increasing their knowledge, and even the owner is just a phone call away.

We don't lock you out of your radios

Let me start by saying, were not pulling your leg here. This actually happens. There are many dealers who feel that because they program your radios, that you paid for, they have the right to lock and password protect the contents.  Now that your radios are password locked, you can't reprogram the radios, any place else.

In other words, you are being held hostage. Why this practice, still continues today, is absolutely ridiculous. It's your radio, you paid for it. Not only will we never lock you out of your information, but we are more than happy and willing to distribute this information to any other Motorola dealer that you choose.

If your account becomes inactive, we will store your information for a period of over 10 years, so any new order does not require you to send in an existing radio.

Free radio programming

There was a time, in a galaxy far away, that people would charge an extra $39.00 to $59.99 to program your radios after a sale. We were the original dealer to offer FREE radio programming, and now it is considered common practice throughout the industry.

Who knew that such a small idea would gain such traction.

Free radio reprogramming

The practice of charging up to $69.99 to reprogram a radio still continues. Any radio purchased through MyRadioMall.com includes reprogramming at no charge.

You send the radios back to us at your expense, and we will ship the radios back to you at our expense. It's call customer service, and it's why our repeat business is so high.

Radio lifetime replacement

If during the life of your radio, Motorola determines that your radio is  not repairable for whatever reason, physical abuse, water damage, got run over by a car, any reason, as long as the serial number is intact, and that radio was purchased through us, we will sell you a new similar radio at our cost to replace the non-functioning radio.

This is a one-to-one purchase exchange, this helps keep your organization running efficiently. We think it's just great customer service.

Free battery reconditioning

Let's not fall into the habit of throwing away batteries and adding to our landfills. Motorola's batteries can be reconditioned to last even longer. We even sell reconditioning equipment to our customers, so they can do this in-house. A typical Motorola battery under ideal conditions can last 2 to 3 years when properly maintained. This is within the 80% margin which Motorola judges a battery to be functional.

If you don't wish to purchase a Motorola reconditioning unit, which by the way are not that expensive, send the batteries back to us, if they stay within the 80% threshold, there is no need to purchase new ones.

We are here to make your life easier!
