Vendor Pricing and Availability

Vendor pricing are constantly changing, when a quote is issued, we can only guarantee pricing for 15 days from the date of the quote. Vendor availability can become an issue from time to time, we cannot be held responsible if a vendor item is available one day, but goes on back order the next. Vendors are constantly discontinuing items, changing part numbers, changing pricing and re-evaluating specifications.

We do our very best to provide at the current moment, the current price, the current availability, including shipping times , the current part numbers provided to us by the original vendor. In the event a vendor has changed price, shipping, specification or any other information that impacts your quote or order, we will do our very best to honor the original quote or order, but we cannot be held responsible for any changes outside our control.

Shipping Methods

Payment for merchandise must be received before 2PM(EST) to begin processing your order the same day. All orders must be placed online, faxed in, or mailed in. We ship UPS ground as our standard. For an additional cost, you can elect to have packages shipped next day, 2nd day, or 3 day select. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes or outside the U.S. Once your order is placed, you will be sent an e-mail confirmation with your order number. You can check your order's processing and shipping status online.

Please note that shipping times can vary depending on the merchandise ordered. Please click the lead time link to determine the ability of merchandise. If merchandise is located in our main warehouse in Chicago, Illinois, a lead time of 3-5 days will be required for us to receive merchandise in order to turn around and ship the merchandise to you. If merchandise must be delivered at a specific time, please check with our sales associates first for more detail information.

2-Stepping (Resell of Motorola Equipment)

ADVANCED RADIO SYSTEMS INC., further known as ARS has an agreement with MOTOROLA INC. To only sell their 2-way radios or accessories equipment directly to the end user. ARS is NOT TO SELL any Motorola 2-way radios and communications equipment to others for the sole purpose of reselling the equipment. Motorola will check the serial numbers, which are unique to their radios, against their database. If it is determined that this policy has been violated, Motorola will charge ARS with fines and penalties.

By accepting our terms, you agree that you are not purchasing these radios for resale. If it is determined by Motorola that these radios were purchased for the sole purpose of being resold, ARS will hold you, the purchaser of the equipment, liable for all penalties and fines imposed by Motorola. If ARS uses legal counsel or must take court action, you the purchaser will be responsible for all court costs and legal fees.

Exchange Policy

30 Day Limited Exchange Policy

We offer a 30 days limited exchange policy. Only radios or accessories that are defective can be exchanged for new ones. It is extremely important that you order the proper radios. Please call us for any assistance if you're not sure on your radio type or model. We can check model numbers over the phone to avoid problems.

Radios, especially one with options, are custom-built to suit a customer need. We anticipate customers orders and tried to maintain sufficient quantity in stock at all time. It is extremely difficult to return radios to Motorola because of the wrong options or frequencies or number of channels. Help us keep our prices low by ordering exactly what you need.

If an exception is made, a 25% restocking fee may apply. You must obtain an RMA number before shipping merchandise, or packages will be denied. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of purchase, and it must be in its original condition along with all documentation and original paperwork, this also includes all packaging materials. Merchandise must be in resalable condition with no damage to boxes, dents or dings on radios, no broken batteries and no bent antennas.

For any Motorola Two-Way radio and accessory warranty issues, the merchandise can be returned to us, taken to a Motorola Authorized Dealer near you for service or replacement, or sent directly to the Motorola headquarters.

For issues regarding the return or repair of Motorola Talk-about radios and accessories must be dealt directly with the manufacturer; the Motorola Talk-about Division. You can contact them at 1-800-353-2729.

WHAT IS NOT REFUNDABLE?

Price Exceptions offered by the original vendor are non-refundable after the vendor ships merchandise to us. In the event a price exception is made, the vendor can charge up to a 25% re-stocking fee, not including shipping costs. This includes special orders by the original vendor or custom orders by the original vendor.

Shipping Fees are NOT refundable, radios that are custom-built, engraved, or modified are NOT refundable, any accessory, battery or items which are special ordered or expedited from Motorola are NOT refundable.
